Announcements

• Sunday Evening  Children's Learning Time called Noah's Ark led by Damon Knight.   The class is designed for children who can read, it must be limited to children from the 1st through the 6th grade.  Please encourage your children to attend Noah's Ark.
• Children's Learning Time: During the sermon, on Sundays, we have two classes for the children ages 2 - 5 and 1st - 6th grade, with study at their levels.  Children participating in these classes will be excused by the song leader after communion and the offering.  Please encourage your children to attend one of these classes also.
• Moving Away:  Jo Jones will be leaving us to be with her family the second week of May.  Charlie and Donna Copenhaver will be moving to Newberg, Oregon to be with their family in mid May.
  
• Marriage and Family Class:  Donna wil be out of town so the class will be canceled for the next two  Mondays, May 5th and May 12th.
• Men's Breakfast:  There will be no  men's breakfast as previously scheduled  on May 17th at 8:30. 
  
• Placing Membership: Susan Ray announced after the Wednesday service that she would like to place her membership here with us.  A warm welcome goes to Susan.
  
• Ladies Spring Retreat will be held on May 16th and 17th at the Copper Basin Bible Camp.  Registration forms and information sheets are on the back table.
• Thursday Night for the Master will be held on May 22.  Thee are several things that we need to accomplish.  Teachers are encouraged to be here to prepare your classrooms for the next quarter.  We need help for the teachers and there are other tasks that need to be performed.
  
• Help Needed in the Nursery:  Some of our nursery attendants have moved away and some are helping in Children's Bible Hour.  There is a sign up sheet on the back table, but whoever wants to help can also contact Stephanie Robson through email: slrobson@cox.net.
  
• Pantry Items are Needed:  Pantry items are needed!  Please sign up for donating non-perishable items.  Sign up sheets are on the back table in front of the audio booth.  In addition, we will be issuing $25 food gift certificates.  Any monetary donations or questions, see Janet Norby, Ellen Keister or Duane Knapp.
• Congratulations to Jake Burnias:  He has  been invied to attend the JUNIOR NATIONAL YOUNG LEADERS CONFERENCE to be held in Washington, D.C. in the Spring of 2008.  Several or our members have expressed a desire to help him with the costs of the trip.  If you also wish to help, please make your check payable to the Kingswood Parke church and indicate that it is for Jake's trip.  There is a copy of his invitation letter on the bulletin board..
  
• Evening Ladies' Bible Class meets at 7:00 p.m., on Tuesdays, at Helen Benton's Home!   All ladies are welcome.  We look forward to having you join us.
  

• Volunteer to teach a class:  It is a great experience and a good way to learn more about the Bible.  See Dale Kunzelman or Damon Knight if you would like to give it a try.
• Plans for the building expansion:  We have recently received architectural drawings for a building addition, and will be giving an overview to the congregation in the near future.  Bill Norby is forming a fund raising committee.  Please see Bill if you're interested in being on this committee.
  
• Zambia Medical Mission:  LaDonna  Armstrong will be going on her annual medical mission trip to Zambia on July 7th.  We are having a special drive to help in this great work.  There are forms on the back table for making donations to the Zambia Mission fund in honor of your mother on Mothers' Day.   It has been a very successful work for the Lord.  If you would like to make a contribution to help defray the travel expenses for LaDonna, you may make a check payable to the church and indicate that it is for the Zambia Mission Fund or make it to the "Zambia Mission fund".   Contributions can  be made at any time and noted accordingly for this mission.  See George Stanich.
  
• Sign-up sheets for Fellowship Service Teams is on the back table for 2008 activities.  Each team will serve two months and will be organized potlucks and other events that are scheduled during their two months.
  
• Sign  up sheet for the food pantry is on the back table.  Please make sure that the expiration date is far out as possible on any food items being donated.  Any  questions see Ellen or Janet.
• Sign up sheets for building security and communion preparation are on the back table for 2008.
• Nursery:  There is a sign up sheet on the back table  for those who can help in the nursery during the morning service. If you are unable to be in the nursery on your scheduled day or,  If you have any questions, please contact Stephanie Robson.

• Ladies Bible Class:  Thursday at 9:45 a.m.    All ladies of the congregation are encouraged to attend.
  

• Youth Camp:  In memory of Don Sullivan (see George Stanich)  contributions may be made at any time and noted accordingly toward this camp.

• Tape or CD request- Pick up your tape or CD requests in the basket on the back table.
• Sign-up sheets are on the back table for rides if you can help.
  
• May  calendars, worship schedules and up-dated directories  are available in rack on the back table.
